ABC’s not really into the whole “agency” thing. We’re not a place that fits concepts to the media budget that makes the most money. We’re not here to take orders and never take the time to come up with new ideas for our clients.

We’re not your typical agency. We’re professional storytellers, expert communicators and master strategists who happen to do marketing. We’re creative-first agency, a point of pride that soaks into everything we do. Some time ago, we dubbed this approach the idea-based marketing philosophy.

The idea comes first here at ABC and that’s not something you get with your typical agency. Marketing, after all, is really just about telling stories. That’s what we truly love to do and that’s why we practice the idea-based marketing philosophy. We really give the idea – that story – priority every time with no exceptions. It starts with concept development, an idea dump where each of those little lightbulbs get poked, batted around and occasionally smashed until only the brightest one shines. It’s not a glamourous process. Feelings are hurt, words are exchanged, whiteboards are pushed to their limits. It gets pretty ugly at times. But, it’s ours and we love it.

The idea-based marketing philosophy turns out some pretty damn good ideas. Those are the ones we polish up and present to you. It’s only then we start pouring that same idea-based passion into media planning and strategy. Put it all together and you’ve got numerous award-winning campaigns that actually achieve real, live, measurable results. The idea-based process never stops though. If the creative’s not working, our creatives are working on a solution. If there’s something we can do for you, we’ll let you know without you even asking. Everyone buys in to this whole idea-based thing because we’re always thinking and constantly creating here at ABC. The idea always comes first because we placed it there on purpose. It’s really a promise to our clients they get our best every time.
