ABC Captures New Stories for Award-Winning Series

(10/22/20 – Syracuse, N.Y.) Two new stories have been added to the award-winning Bing Stories video series.

Bing Stories is part of the “Be Part of Our Story” campaign for Visit Binghamton. Through multimedia storytelling, this campaign connects Binghamton’s prominent past to its promising future. The now 14-episode Bing Stories series allows viewers to immerse themselves in the outdoor adventures, rich culture and flourishing arts, food and craft beer scenes of Binghamton. Complementary written content takes an even deeper dive into the people and places of Binghamton. The brand and series have been years in the making.

For these new additions, the ABC team worked with Visit Binghamton’s Director Judi Hess to capture the story of Binghamton’s many golf courses. The other story focuses on one of the city’s most popular restaurants, the Lost Dog Café. ABC sat down with Lost Dog’s Co-Founders Marie McKenna and Elizabeth Hughes to learn about how the eclectic eatery came to be.

The Bing Stories videos and written content have earned a couple of national awards, including a Communicator and a Telly as well as the New York State Tourism Industry Association (NYSTIA) Excellence Award.
