ABC Creative Group Wins Five ADDY® Awards

SYRACUSE, New York – March 18, 2008 – ABC Creative Group, a full service advertising agency that focuses on idea-based marketing strategies, was honored with two gold and three silver ADDY awards at the Syracuse Advertising Awards Show at OHM Lounge in Armory Square on Friday, March 7th. ABC’s “BlueBinIt” recycling campaign for Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency (OCRRA) won them these prestigious awards for the categories of Out-of-Home and Newspaper advertising, as well as Mixed Media Campaign. Contributors for this campaign include: Creative Director Travis Bort, Account Manager Amy Roberts, Copywriter Nell Beadling and Senior Art Director Manny Arthur.

The ADDY Awards Competition is the world’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence. Each year the National ADDY®’s receive over 60,000 entries. The awards night signifies the meaning of creative distinction by recognizing the field’s many forms. The American Advertising Federation (AAF) is a not-for-profit association and conducts the ADDY® Awards annually through its 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts. According to the AAF website the organization is the “only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry.”
