(8/18/22) The Firefighters Association of the State of New York (FASNY) turned 150 years old this year and ABC Creative was there to engineer a celebration campaign that culminated with the volunteer firefighter organization’s Annual Convention last month.
Founded in 1872, FASNY has been an ABC client for more than 20 years. It was our privilege to lend a hand in the 150th anniversary observance that unofficially started more than a year ago with a groundbreaking on renovations to headquarters in Albany.
ABC developed a commemorative logo and put together a special web page collecting tons of 150th content, including promotion of special events and a 150th shop as well as magazine articles and video outlining FASNY’s rich history and promising future.
To prep for the milestone 150th Annual FASNY Convention, ABC designers took on development of collateral and The Volunteer Firefighter magazine spreads. The Convention microsite provided a clearinghouse of information and drew numerous registrations to the tune of a sell-out crowd for the special event. Another video gathered the reflection of current and Past Presidents of the esteemed Association.
We were proud to celebrate with the Firefighters Association of the State of New York as they observed a century and a half of service to volunteer firefighters at the 150th Annual FASNY Convention. Our crew was on the ground in Tarrytown, capturing video and photography, and documenting the historic occasion on social media in detail.
