(10/15/14 – Syracuse, N.Y.) International maker of “inventive playthings for inquisitive minds” HABA will pick our brains for an upcoming nationwide campaign.
The project, ABC’s first for HABA, will urge families to put away mobile devices and electronics this holiday season in favor of toys and games that inspire quality time. It’s a back-to-basics message that aligns with HABA’s classic inventory focused on childhood development.
The Germany-based Habermaass Corp. built its reputation on wooden toys when it began more than 76 years ago and it remains a staple. HABA now sells a line of 2,000 products in 50 countries.
The U.S. headquarters in Skaneateles acts as the sales, marketing and distribution office for the HABA toys as well as four other foreign brands that span everything from dolls to designer diaper bags.
While ABC and HABA are still developing the strategy, the “Take Time to Play” campaign will include the creation of several digital components, including social media.
