An initiative of Onondaga County departments of mental health, social services and probation, OnCare guides youth through behavioral and emotional challenges through counseling and other programming.
The “Let’s Talk about It” video and poster campaign was designed to raise awareness of mental health issues in children and teens who could use OnCare services.
ABC chose to use statistics that address mental health issues such as anxiety, schizophrenia, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression and substance abuse, in a one-minute spot that showed how many children and teens suffer in silence.
Posters displayed in schools urged our target audience to start a dialogue that would lead to help for their issues.
