ABC recently partnered with the Development Authority of the North Country to raise awareness of their critical services in the communities of Jefferson, St. Lawrence and Lewis County.
The public benefit corporation founded nearly 40 years ago maintains the infrastructure needed to drive economic development throughout the three counties, which include the city of Watertown and Fort Drum. Our eight-minute video spotlights services that cover everything from wastewater treatment to GIS mapping of municipal utilities. In addition to waste management and broadband network oversight, the authority also handles an affordable housing initiative and maintains public nature trails in the area that’s home to around 250,000 people.
Our film crew captured footage that illustrates the process and impact of the authority’s important work at several locations throughout New York’s North Country. The finished product will be used to educate the public and other stakeholders about the authority’s dedication to community growth and the services they use to make it happen.
