Oh boy, craft beverage buffs, have we got something you’ll savor. It’s a brand-spanking-new collection of Stories on Tap videos from Brew Central, featuring some intriguing places and faces of the brewing industry from across the Central New York Travel Region!
Recap of the last decade for those who don’t know: We branded Central New York as Brew Central and boldly proclaimed it America’s Craft Brew Destination back in 2013. That’s when we began telling the stories of craft beer, spirit, hard cider and wine producers around the region to engage traveling craft beverage connoisseurs across the nation and world.
We’ve produced more than 40 episodes of the award-winning YouTube series that fuels our Brew Central content and advertising so far with Madison County Distillery, New Leaf Cider Co., Eisenadler Brauhaus and RevSpirits/BeeLine Meadery joining the fold this year. Spoiler alert: They’re pretty great.
You’ll hear from “Coach” Basla, the retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant general turned community-minded entrepreneur over at Madison County Distillery in Cazenovia near. Then there’s the Beagell family, who perfected their New Leaf Cider just in time for the pandemic and fought through setbacks to realize their dream in scenic Port Crane outside of Binghamton. Eisenadler Brauhaus brings a bit of Bavaria to the unlikely setting of rural Nelliston, an Erie Canal-side village in Montgomery County. The BeeYard at RevSpirits/BeeLine Meadery in Jefferson out toward the Capital Region is the hidden gem brought to light by its beekeeper owners.
