ABC Director of Agency Operations Rachel Kelly has joined the board of directors at a local nonprofit.
Child Care Solutions is dedicated to helping families find affordable child care in Onondaga and Cayuga counties. They do this through education, advocacy and support for families and early childhood professionals. The organization was founded in 1975 to provide information and resources to parents, providers, employers and community leaders.
Kelly, who will serve a three-year term on the board, adamantly supports their vision that every child is cared for in a high quality, safe and nurturing environment that cultivates healthy development, early learning and joy.
“As full-time working parents of two, my husband and I have experienced the impact of limited child care and early learning resources on both our children and our professional contributions,” Kelly said. “Quality child care should be accessible to every family.
“I support CCS’s mission to empower all families and childcare providers, ensuring safe, high-quality and affordable child care in Central New York,” she said.
