The Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency is embracing a critical moment in its nearly 55-year history with content that captures its collaborative approach to growth with companies from in- and outside the area.
A video series produced by ABC Creative puts the behind-the-scenes work of Onondaga County Executive J. Ryan McMahon II and OCIDA front-and-center for prospective businesses that are invited to join the likes of Amazon, Bluefors and Micron Technology in a world-class community of commerce.
The series illustrates OCIDA’s commitment to collaboration with businesses throughout any given project. Through interviews with corporate decision-makers and county leaders, the videos reveal the process that moves projects from conversations to construction.
Over the past few years, OCIDA has guided the addition of international retail giant Amazon and the expansion of Bluefors, a world-leading manufacturer of cryogenic tech based in Finland. Onondaga County has also linked with Syracuse University to shape the Center for Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing, which was established to ensure sustainable success for Micron as it prepares to break ground on its $100 billion megafab facility.
The first set of episodes offers insights into these relationships and the value of OCIDA services. The series will continue to tell these success stories with the intention of fueling future growth as part of several campaigns targeting industry and company leaders worldwide.
