The season of giving is upon us and if you haven’t already, you’ll soon be hearing the familiar ring of a Salvation Army bell in various places around town. But, did you know the Salvation Army does a lot more to help the community? In fact, they have 40 programs addressing an impressively wide variety of needs from babies to seniors.
The Salvation Army challenged ABC to promote all they do in the Syracuse area, so we came up with the concept of “More Than Just the Bell.” In just a couple of minutes, the promotional video produced by ABC tells the Salvation Army story with moving words, images and footage that demonstrate the litany of services they provide.
The video premiered at the organization’s annual Civic Celebration in October and will be used online and on social media to help raise awareness and funds.

“When we first sat down with ABC Creative Group to discuss creating an agency video, we wondered how they could possibly capture the wide range of services the Salvation Army provides to this community in under two minutes,” the Salvation Army wrote in a post on LinkedIn. “Once again, ABC Creative Group delivered with this beautiful video.”
