(3/28/22 – Binghamton, N.Y.) ABC Creative helped Visions Federal Credit Union earn two Diamond Awards from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). The winning entries featured ABC-developed campaigns promoting a photo contest and business services.
The “Diamond in the Rough” award recognizes campaigns with a big impact on a limited budget. Visions was new to Tompkins County and the Southern Tier, so the credit union put together a contest that would raise awareness through community involvement.
A photo contest invited entries from residents that showed off Tompkins County scenes. The winning image appeared on a debit card available to all Visions members. To take the community involvement even further, Visions had Facebook followers vote for the winner.
Another ABC-created campaign won in the “Business Development Efforts” category. The campaign pushed Visions Business Services Suite in a unique way that included mailings targeted at small business owners. They received direct mail at work and at home, each with their own messaging. As an incentive for signups, Visions made donations to local Chambers of Commerce for each account opened. The mailings and incentive led to 163 new accounts, a 24 percent increase over the previous year.
These recognitions raise ABC’s total Diamond Award tally to eight that we’ve earned from CUNA for branding, web and video work over the years.
