(9/22/22 – Syracuse, N.Y.) A new tourist trail exposes the hidden history of Cortland County, New York, and ABC Creative is guiding the development of the initiative.
Cortland Curiosities collects all things eerie, creepy and just plain weird in this historic corner of upstate New York. The Experience Cortland initiative is actually a collection of 10 experiences that include cemeteries, haunted houses, an abandoned circus and the Cardiff Giant.
ABC is handling logo, website and collateral development for this unique project with the Cortland County Convention & Visitors Bureau also known as Experience Cortland. The Bureau promotes the many amenities and attractions of Cortland County, also known as the Eastern Gateway to New York’s Finger Lakes.
“Travel and tourism has always been a cornerstone at ABC and we’re excited to take on this project with Experience Cortland,” ABC Owner and Creative Director Travis Bort said. “One of the best parts of this project is discovering for ourselves the bizarre hidden history right here in our own backyard. It’s a very unique trail in the country and one that we think deserves a lot of attention from the niche group of travelers we’re targeting.”
