(9/18/20 – Syracuse, N.Y.) In case you missed it a few months ago, the ABC team released our post-quarantine New York state tourism report. We partnered with Drive Research and surveyed 1,000 New Yorkers to learn about what they intend to do once travel restrictions have lifted.
This project was near and dear to the ABC team. For nearly two decades, our agency has been serving various destination marketing clients. We knew that many local attractions, restaurants, breweries and shops were taking a hit from the pandemic.
So, our team took it upon ourselves to do more than just a survey that educated those within the tourism industry … we practiced what we preached and traveled ourselves.
We utilized Instagram and started the hashtag #ABCSupportsNYTourism to show where our staycations in New York state have taken us. From Long Island to Lake Placid to Rochester, Buffalo and everywhere in between, our crew has been shopping, eating and drinking local to show our support.
