(9/4/19 – Syracuse, N.Y.) ABC’s award-winning Brew Central campaign continues to go in-depth with craft beverage producers with “Stories on Tap,” a webseries that captures the journey of upstate breweries, distilleries and wineries.
Emerging the viewers in the history and flavors of the region, we tell these stories to attract craft beverage connoisseurs from all over. The video series and campaign have earned ABC and our client, the Central New York Travel Region, nearly a dozen national and state awards, including Tellys and Communicators. Brew Central has also been recognized by the U.S. Travel Association and the New York State Tourism Industry Association (NYSTIA).
ABC’s video department has covered plenty of ground throughout the 10 Central New York counties involved with the project to capture footage for more than 30 episodes.
This month, ABC released three new stories from F.X. Matt Brewing Co./Saranac of Utica, Beer Tree Brew Co. of Port Crane and DikinDurt Distillery of Herkimer. These Brew Central partners gave us the lowdown on how they came to be, why they love brewing and where they’re heading.
Brew Central launched in 2013 with an ABC-developed website, print pieces and national ad campaign. It’s since added dozens of featured brewers, whose journeys are documented with video, photography and written features. Our PR strategy has earned coverage of America’s Craft Brew Destination in numerous local, regional and national publications.
