(3/1/24 – Syracuse, N.Y.) The Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency has a new look and website designed to draw more of their prospects: companies looking to relocate or expand in Central New York.
OCIDA needed a way to stand out at the dozens of events it attends across the U.S. ABC Creative began its brand development with research that included a thorough review of what the most successful economic development agencies in the country were doing right.
In addition to development of a clean, contemporary logo, ABC went to work on a complete website overhaul that added content and better presented existing information and resources. The site more prominently conveys the core message to prospects: Onondaga County is a great place to do business. ABC also developed the database that makes OCIDA’s numerous resources readily available to prospects as well as the public.
The site also elevates the presence of Micron in the Onondaga County economy with a focus on supply chain and industry-adjacent manufacturers. The content will be critical as the agency leads the planning for and execution of the Micron megafab plant in Clay, a 20-year, multi-billion-dollar development that promises to transform the Central New York economy.
OCIDA’s role extends well beyond Micron, though, so ABC set out to highlight the agency’s services with a long-form video explaining the process behind attracting Amazon to the area. OCIDA played a critical part in creating the opportunity and streamlining the process that included extensive community outreach. The piece features several key voices, including those of Amazon reps, OCIDA Executive Director Robert Petrovich and Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon, who outline all the work that went into one of the county’s biggest developments in decades.
All told, OCIDA has an entirely new presence on the national scene with assets that include lead-generating collateral for their many show appearances.
