(7/2/20 – Syracuse, N.Y.) Our Director of Video Production Jordan Harmon will have one of his photos featured on the cover of a book that is set to be released in late September.
At ABC, we are known for our storytelling. So, it only makes sense that Jordan’s photos caught the eye of Le Moyne College professor and author Michael Streissguth while they were on display at the State Tower building.
Jordan’s personal photo style is black and white with high contrast, which is exactly what Streissguth was looking for his book City on the Edge, Hard Choices in the American Rust Belt. At the end of 2019, Jordan was tasked with capturing a photo that screamed “Syracuse Rust Belt,” which coincides with the short stories in the book.
Since joining at ABC, Jordan has explored the streets of Downtown Syracuse during his lunch breaks to capture the unique local architecture and everyday faces of the Syracuse community.
