(5/4/20 – Syracuse, N.Y.) At first, destination marketers fretted at the prospect of the pandemic’s chilling effect on travel. But research is showing opportunity, especially in drive-time feeder markets.
We wanted to speak to those homebound masses with emotional reminders that things will (eventually) get back to normal. When they do, the destinations ABC represents will be ready.
To do this, we told a few stories that inspire a little hope while keeping destinations top of mind.
Central New York
For Central New York and Brew Central, we captured the efforts of our Brew Central Partners and what they have been doing for their communities. Through this video, we were able to exemplify their efforts and show our audience the breweries and distilleries aren’t going anywhere.

Visit Binghamton
We created these two videos for Binghamton to remind their audience that adventure is out there and that we will explore again and encourage them to be sure to add Binghamton to their future travel list.
Visit 1000 Islands
We created this video that captures the endless adventures and activities that the 1000 Islands is full of. Our goal was to remind travelers that it won’t be long until we are all back making memories, sharing stories and having unforgettable experiences.
