The Hartwick College Center for Craft Food and Beverage conducts research, offers training and provides analytic services to craft beverage producers and suppliers in New York. The young Center wanted to put together a campaign that would invite New York brewers to submit their products for testing and analysis to fulfill grant requirements.
ABC was charged with building the testing kits that would be sent to each brewery, of which there are hundreds in New York state. The campaign would have to introduce brewers to the Center and inspire them to partake in the testing services designed to increase quality, consistency, efficiency and shelf life.
Each kit came equipped with bottles, labels and instructions all designed by ABC, which also produced printed collateral explaining the Center’s services. As added value, ABC also assembled an e-communication to deliver extra encouragement to the 75 or so producers included in an unrelated craft beverage tourism initiative we created.
