McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center: PSAs

McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center partners Onondaga County law enforcement, children and family services, social workers, medical professionals, victim advocates, prosecutors, therapists and volunteers under one roof to deal with cases of child abuse or human trafficking.

To carry out this essential service, the Syracuse-based organization relies heavily on donations and April – Child Abuse Prevention Month – is a major time to raise funds as well as awareness. To do so, ABC came up with a couple concepts for PSAs intended to hit the audience hard with sobering statistics.

Each PSA, one exposing the frequency and seriousness of child abuse locally and another highlighting the disturbing fact that most victims know their abuser, was crafted on a limited budget.
